Pre-need insurance plans are generally transferable. If you relocate, we can help you transfer your plan to a funeral home in your new location. The funds travel with you.
In most cases, a properly structured pre-need funeral plan is an exempt asset for Medicaid purposes. We recommend speaking with your financial advisor or attorney for guidance specific to your situation.
We recommend telling your family — or at least one trusted person — that arrangements are on file at Scales & Sons. We also keep copies of all documentation so that no arrangement is ever lost.
